Daniel and Jennifer Flores, along with our four sons—Benjamin, Joshua, Noé, and Levi—have been serving the Lord in Lyon, France, with a heart to see lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From the beginning of our marriage, we sensed that our family was called to be used for God’s purposes, trusting Him to lead, provide, and open doors for ministry according to His perfect will.
Having arrived in France over 20 years ago, our ministry grew out of a desire to respond to the spiritual needs—through practical care—of those around us, especially the most vulnerable. The Lord led us into a meaningful ministry among Persian-speaking people, many from Muslim backgrounds who have faced hardship, displacement, and persecution.
Today, we serve among Iranian refugees and asylum seekers. Our primary calling is pastoral: to care for spiritual needs through the teaching of God’s Word, discipleship, and the cultivation of a Christ-centered community—something vital for those often isolated and separated from their families. Practical support flows naturally from this foundation. By God’s grace, this work has grown into a thriving church where lives are being transformed, and a committed body of believers is taking root.
Many we serve encounter Jesus for the first time at the risk of alienation or separation. We are called to shepherd them faithfully —grounding them in Scripture and equipping them to live out their faith.
The Lord has also opened doors for a growing online Persian ministry, reaching both the diaspora and individuals within Iran through expository biblical teaching, prayer, and discipleship. We support and equip leaders on the ground, strengthening the Church and helping spread the Gospel.
In light of the current situation in Iran, we are investing in training believers—many of whom desire to return to their homeland to serve their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ—trusting that He may open doors in His timing to strengthen the Church within a country that is collapsing on all levels but that will prayerfully be rebuilt or reborn for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Our church is blessed to have many gifted Iranian Christian media professionals, including voice actors, screen personalities, and content creators actively involved in dubbing, film production, and Farsi-language media outreach. Currently, we are partnering with other ministries that share a heart to reach this nation. This Calvary Chapel ministry includes discipleship training and outreach in refugee centers, often meeting fragile people where they are and walking with those open to the Gospel.
We are grateful for those who support us in prayer and partnership as we seek to remain faithful to God’s call, trusting Him to bear lasting fruit in France and among its growing community of Persian refugees.
In Christ,
Daniel & Jennifer Flores
