Jack & Mari Bell are serving in Kamakura, Japan pastoring Calvary Chapel Kamakura. Kamakura is a community about an hour south of Tokyo. The people of Japan need Jesus. Less than 1% are Christians. Most of the people to some degree observe both Shinto and Buddhist religions but for the most part, consider themselves to be non-religious and struggle to find meaning in life. Our primary ministry is teaching the Word and pastoring the believers at Calvary Chapel Kamakura. We reach out to the community through English teaching and street evangelism. Please pray for us to be encouraged and empowered by the Holy Spirit that we would be able to live for Christ and provide a good witness to those that don’t yet know Him.
