Enrico and Margarida are an Italian/Portuguese couple who met in France where they lived for a few years.
They moved to her hometown, Ansião, Portugal about 3 years ago and they realized then that the Camino (way) to Santiago the Compostela was passing through that town.

In 2023 they went for a month to serve in ministry in Spain where they had the chance to share the gospel to the many pilgrims that spent the night in the Hostel where they were volunteering.

Last year, they started their own project called The Way and later registered an Association with the same name. The aim of the Association is to share the good news with the many pilgrims that do the Saint James Way departing from Lisbon. They do this by preparing a picnic in the woods just by the path where pilgrims walk. Their goal is to buy a house to be used as a hostel for the pilgrims.
