Hope For Restoration Initiative (H4RI)

BACKGROUND
H4RI is a registered indigenous NGO of (file NO: MIA/NB/2019/01/1605) by the government of Uganda. It was founded by Robert and his wife Pamela Kiggundu in 2015. Their motivation to establish this organization was to stand in as regards making a valuable contribution to the cubing down on the escalating vulnerabilities among the girl child ranging from lack of access to even the cheapest sanitary towel, sexual harassment/exploitation to physical abuse.

Prior to their founding of H4RI the founders carried out simple community-based research and established that the underlying challenges to the communities have their roots from poor family foundations and poor health.

The H4RI approach to sustainable community development is therefore premised on the three programs which include: Family strengthening (Hope for families), Hope Doctors Beyond, and Hope for Her. All these three are used as tools for evangelism as it’s only in Christ that Hope is reassured and renewed.

OUR VISION
We envision a world in which all girls and young women, regardless of race, ethnicity, income level or social status, are natured and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

OUR MISSION
To educate, provide health care, empower socially, economically and spiritually young and the older people.

OUR GOAL
To increase access to social services of the marginalized with focus on the. Child, Teenagers and youth to be able to make informed decision and choices.

OUR OBJECTIVES

• Develop programs and projects that address needs of children or people living in difficult circumstances and whose rights have been violated.

• To directly and indirectly increase health intervention to all classes of people in Uganda

• Empower the girl child and woman to be self-reliant. • Promote safe motherhood among sexually abused girls and young mothers.
