Pastor Tim was born and raised in Southern California and gave his life to Christ in high school and began attending Calvary Chapel Living Water Fellowship in Corona, California.
In 2002, the Lord called him to Okinawa, Japan — a nation where less than 1% of the population identifies as Christian. Since then, he has faithfully served at Calvary Chapel Okinawa, Calvary Chapel Ginowan, and Calvary Chapel Bible College Japan. In 2009, he planted Calvary Chapel Nago with a heart to reach the northern part of Okinawa with the Gospel.
Today, Pastor Tim and his wife homeschool their five children while serving a small but precious group of believers in Nago. They teach the Bible verse by verse in both Japanese and English and meet regularly to disciple and encourage those whom God brings.
Twice a month, they hold youth gatherings to invest in the next generation. Pastor Tim also reaches beyond the church walls through evangelistic outreach, including sharing the Gospel through rap at local community events.
To connect with the community and support the ministry financially, they operate an English Conversation School at the church. Through these classes, relationships are built and doors are opened to share Christ’s love in a natural and meaningful way.

Our family serves together in this ministry. Homeschooling, church life, and community outreach are woven into our daily lives. Our children have grown up here in Okinawa, and we are thankful to see them grow in faith alongside this church family.
