God has been so faithful! Year after year God has gone before us, prepared the hearts to hear the gospel and many have come to receive the greatest gift through “Navidad en Reynosa”: Jesus Christ as their Savior.
What is “Navidad en Reynosa”? How did this event begin? How can you be a part of this yearly event?
“Navidad en Reynosa” was an answer to our prayer as we prayed “Lord, will you provide us with an open door to share the gospel this Christmas here in Reynosa? A few days later, we received a call “Could you use some new donated toys?” Our response “Yes!”. We praised God and thanked Him for opening a door for us to take the donated new toys to children and to take the gospel to a poor community in the outskirts of Reynosa. That first “Navidad en Reynosa” was December 25, 2013. To God be the Glory for His faithfulness!
If you feel led to be a part of this yearly event through financial donations, your donation will provide bran new toys for the children, rice & beans, candies, and two new bikes that are raffled at the end of the event, and more important, the gospel will be preached to the children and parents who attend. Through your donations you are as much part of all God will do through this event. May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to use you to encourage many others in the faith.
Vacation Bible School:
Calvary Chapel Reynosa has a heart for Evangelism and God has opened doors for us to go out and share the gospel through events at surrounding parks. Another Evangelistic event that God has given us the privilege to reach the community is Vacation Bible Study. It’s been several years now that we have had the blessing to have VBS at the park and many of the children that don’t normally come to church attend and come to hear the gospel message and how much God loves them. At these events not only do the children hear the gospel but, pastor Martin Solis shares an evangelistic message for all who are present, and we have seen many parents and adults make decisions of faith to accept Jesus as their Savior.
