Greetings! Our names are Robert & Pamela Kiggundu. Since 2014, our family has been serving Jesus in Uganda, where Robert was born. We met each other in the Uganda mission field in 2012 and were married in 2014. We have a beautiful family of five boys (Oriya, Agaba, Victor, Ben, Lois and Caleb) and one daughter. Robert serves at Calvary Chapel Entebbe as a Missions/Finance Pastor (Robert sits on the church Board as a finance advisor), he has also served as the Board Chairman for Uganda Red Cross Society Entebbe Branch for 7 years his 10-year term ends in 2026.
Our ministry, Hope for Restoration Initiative, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that focuses primarily in Uganda, Africa. Our primary effort is to empower youth, single mothers and men to recognize a full relationship with, and finding out who they are, in Jesus Christ. Through this ministry we offer counseling, education, medical care, teach trade skills, supply vital daily needs, offer employment / help individuals find work, and provide psycho-social support. Our education is provided by way of sponsorship programs. Our medical care is offered in areas that are difficult to reach such as areas surrounding lakes and inland communities. All of our services are leveraged to share the gospel while providing these services at low-cost or free to those in need.
We have 18 full time staff, including counselors, social workers, nurses, laboratory technicians, clinicians, farm hands, and seamstresses. Our 4 seamstresses are trained to make reusable sanitary pads, which are distributed free of charge to those in need. Alongside donor support, these reusable sanitary pads are our greatest support in sharing the gospel. Our pad effort is what allows us to have an audience at Muslim schools, prisons and hospitals where we freely share the gospel prior to distributing the pads. Hope For Restoration Initiative is the only ministry in the area that provides these vital pads to women in need, for free, supported through donors like you.
Our ministry is fully funded with your tax-deductible donor support. We operate on a tight and transparent budget, in which only 6% of donor funds are passthrough costs. The remaining 94% is used exclusively for the mission’s operation that serve the needs in Uganda. We ask you to join our efforts in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and to be a part of the testimony of the work God is doing in Uganda that is providing those without hope, hope for a better future.
