Hola!
Mi nombre es Ricardo Solis, que junto a mi amada esposa Clau y mis Hijos Josué de 18 años y Elías de 7 años, llegamos como misioneros a una ciudad llamada Chilpancingo capital del estado de Guerrero en México, obedeciendo el llamado a plantar una iglesia Calvary Chapel entendiendo de parte del Señor el claro llamado a hacer discípulos que discipulen, mas que una membresía tradicional, formar y pastorear a Sus discípulos, fortaleciendo la sana doctrina en dicha localidad, la cual no llega ni al 2%. Por lo tanto la tarea de llevar el evangelio la construimos con discípulos aptos en la Palabra y llenos del Espíritu Santo.

La verdad fue un reto y una aventura de fe mudarnos en Julio del 2020 cuando la pandemia covid-
19 se levantaba para cerrarlo todo, y a pesar de que en momentos hubo temor a las consecuencias, el Señor fue fiel para guardarnos del temor y librarnos de la muerte, pues mi esposa y yo estuvimos contagiados y confinados en 4 ocasiones. Solo un par de veces suspendimos servicios por fuerza gubernamental. Aprendimos que aunque para la lógica humana abrir una congregación sería mala idea, para que el Señor muestre su poder y gracia, nos enseñó que su obra no se detiene, ni depende de las circunstancias del entorno general, depende solo de su gracia!

Hemos sido bendecidos con una familia hermosa en la fe que poco a poco crece en discípulos de Cristo, sin embargo también hemos tenido mucha oposición principalmente por hechicería contra nosotros, independientemente a el clima de inseguridad en general por parte de grupos narcotraficantes en todo el estado de Guerrero. Con todo seguiremos firmes en la fe, hasta que Cristo venga!

My name is Ricardo Solis, who alongside my beloved wife, Clau, and my sons, Josué, 18 years old and Elías, 7 years old, have come as missionaries to a city called Chilpancingo, capital of the state of Guerrero in México, obeying the calling to a plant a Calvary Chapel church in light of the Lord’s clear calling to make disciples who disciple and more than a traditional membership, form and pastor His disciples, holding up sound doctrine in this town, which does not even reach 2%. Therefore, the work to take the Gospel is built with disciples who are rooted in the Word and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Truthfully it was a challenge and an adventure in the faith to move in July of 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic came and everything closed and despite the fact that there were moments of fear of consequences, it was the Lord who was faithful to protect us from fear and free us from death, my wife and I got sick and were quarantined on four occasions. We only suspended services a few times due to governmental force. We learned that even though that by human logic to open up the congregation would be a bad idea, that the Lord by His power and grace demonstrated to us his that work cannot be detained, nor is it dependent on surrounding circumstances. It depends only on His grace!

We have been blessed with a beautiful family in the faith that little by little grow into disciples of Christ. Without a doubt, we have also had much oppression principally for witchcraft against us and regardless of the general insecurity due to drug trafficking groups all over the state of Guerrero, in all of this, we continue firm in the faith, until Christ comes!
