Jeff Kran is a Jewish believer who was born in Chicago in 1962 and raised by secular Jewish parents. However, he was greatly influenced by his Orthodox Jewish grandfather who lived with them for some years and made sure that Jeff had the basis of a Jewish education.

Jeff came to faith in 1982 through a study of the evidence for the truth of Scripture – particularly Messianic prophecy. And has had a ministry of teaching and evangelism for approximately the last thirty some odd years being active in Bible teaching, conference speaking and congregation planting. He has been a guest on radio programs on Apologetics.

Jeff has a deep and long-standing burden for his Jewish people and has lectured and held open forums on college campuses and taught workshops on Jewish theological objections to the Gospel. He has demonstrated himself to be a gifted teacher and a sound communicator of God’s word, with a passion for apologetics and reaching the lost.

He has also has done speaking on Muslim objection for the Gospel. Jeff became involved with The Ministry to Muslims Network. He spoke at a Ministry to Muslims event at Calvary Chapel Anaheim in California. He worked alongside them in Phoenix, Arizona being involved in some of the mosque evangelism outreaches. He ministered both teaching on some apologetic topics, giving group devotions, and engaging in mosque evangelism at an outreach in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the main speaker at a recent conference sponsored by Ministry to Muslims in Anaheim, California.

Jeffrey joined Chosen People Ministries staff full time in 2006. He and his wife, Marlene, have a vision for evangelism and to work with churches. The Kran’s have five children.

Jeff completed his Master of Divinity Degree with a focus in Messianic Jewish Studies at the Charles Feinberg Center in January 2011. He is presently completing his dissertation for a Doctorate in Apologetics and Worldviews.
